Task Overview
Running Front End of Gift Shop:
- Offering cashiering service to patients, visitors, and employees purchasing goods that range from home goods and décor to packaged candy, books, purses and gifts. Includes:
- Running a computerized cash register, under supervision of Gift Shop Manager.
- Ring up Merchandise through register.
- Completing transactions.
- Training provided.
- Customer Service by assisting and talking to patients, visitors, and employees on sales floor when needed.
- Additional tasks are available to those who are interested/able, such as tagging and replenishing stock.
Incentives:
25% off as a Volunteer Discount, to use in Gift Shop.
$8.00 off any cafeteria purchase each shift worked.
Recognition at end of year through Lutheran Hospital. Can receive different prizes depending on hours volunteered.
