On April 23rd, Honor Flight Northeast Indiana will be taking their 50th flight! Veterans will be flown to Washington DC for the day where they will visit the memorials built in their honor. We are accepting thank you cards specifically geared towards this celebration to include in the Veteran's Mail Call envelopes. Cards can be of any medium (handmade or store bought) and use any sentiments. Note: bulky items don't fit well and nothing that could fall off the outside of the envelope or card. For example, foam stars on the envelope may fall off, however stickers would be fine. You could include foam stars inside on the card because it is protected by the envelope. Please respond so we have an idea how many people are working on cards. Typically 85 Veterans go on each flight.
We must have the cards at our office by April 3rd to ensure they get in the envelopes. 3401 Lake Avenue, Suite 4. Office hours M - TH 8 am -4 pm.

- Thank you for your bravery and sacrifice. Enjoy this milestone flight with your fellow Veterans.
- This wouldn’t be the home of the free if not for brave veterans like you. Celebrating 50 flights!
- With great appreciation for your service and sacrifices, we honor you on this very special day.
