The Volunteer Center works on three specific areas of impact:
CONNECT- We connect volunteers with local community organizations that need help. If you want to get involved but don't know where to start, we are your source.
SUPPORT- We support non-profit organizations, helping them expand their capacity to meet their mission by connecting them to a pool of talented, dependable and skilled volunteers.
SOLVE- We provide solutions to community needs through the power of volunteers. Our Signature Programs address critical disparities affecting low to moderate income households and the most vulnerable in our community.
What We Do
As a local volunteer center, volunteers of all ages serve at over 140 local nonprofit and civic organizations. These organizations depend on the Volunteer Center to provide reliable volunteer support.
As an agency, the Volunteer Center operates a number of signature programs designed to incorporate volunteer service in community solutions that strengthen and improve the lives of low to moderate income families in Allen County.
