Join LRWP in celebrating all things Monarch Butterfly! Help us spread the word about the importance of creating habitat for monarchs and inspire our community to take action. There are many ways to help! Highlighting monarchs’ lifecycle and their incredible transformation, the Monarch Festival includes a variety of programs and activities:
* Live Monarch Displays: Observe monarchs at different stages of their life cycle!
* Butterfly Tagging: Participate in tagging monarch butterflies before their release.
* Educational Presentations: Enjoy learning stations and hands-on activities for all ages.
* Guided Hikes: Walk along trails lined with pollinators and native wildflowers.
* Plant Giveaway: Take home milkweed, the only plant on which monarchs lay eggs.
