Do you LOVE thrifting, or just want to be part of something that’s making a real difference in our community? The Lighthouse Family Thrift Store is the place for you!
The Lighthouse exists to serve individuals who struggle with life-altering issues by providing structure, education, support, and mentorship. We offer a Food Bank, clothing vouchers, community groups and more; and the store helps fund everything we do!
As a thrift store volunteer, you may help with tasks such as:
- Sorting through clothing, shoes, books, toys, and other merchandise
- Hanging and tagging clothing items
- Cleaning and organizing around the store (sweeping, dusting, tidying, etc.)
- Assisting with backroom processing and donations
Not every volunteer will do all of these tasks—roles vary depending on the day and the store's needs.
