Soarin Hawk mission is rescue / rehabilitation / release of birds-of-prey and education. We are a volunteer run organization. On the rehabilitation team, we have an on-call Veterinarian and a Veterinary-Technician, as well as a crew of volunteers. We are looking to add an additional Veterinary-Technician to the team. Soarin Hawk operates from a new well-equipped facility in Huntertown. The vet-techs are responsible for the following activities:
- Support/Supervise the intake, triage and medical treatment of raptors and other birds-of-prey
- Support/Supervise the rehabilitation process, with regular exams and treatment plans.
- Support/Supervise preventative medical care of our resident raptors.
- Coordinate all care with our on-call Veterinarian.
