Casa Restaurants and more than 150 staff and volunteers will team up for the 37th annual Brown Bag Lunch fundraiser to prepare, package, and deliver 3,000 lunches to 200+ area businesses and schools in a three-hour time period. Our goal is to raise $35,000 for SCAN’s Programs.
Event Day Volunteer Opportunities - Wednesday, March 9th from 9:30am-1:30pm
Times may be split into two shifts for large groups
- Food Prep Assembly Line (50 Volunteers)– Dishing and packing lunches. Volunteers will be on their feet with limited breaks
- Box Builder/Carrier (20 Volunteers)- Assembling empty boxes, carrying filled orders to delivery vehicles. Volunteers should be able to lift 10+ lbs.
- Drivers (80 Volunteers)- Deliver orders to local businesses and collect money for unpaid orders. You may sign up with a partner. Volunteer the entire time or choose between these shift options: 9:30am-11:30am, 10:30am-12:30pm and 11:30am-1:30pm.
