We have two previously published books and we are looking for an agent and/or publicist. If you have experience as a book agent, as a publicist or have trained to become one and need experience and want to make a difference, this volunteer opportunity is perfect for you.
You may need to handle multiple clients. Generate press coverage on behalf of clients and serve as the bridge between clients, their public and media outlets. You will manage campaigns and work as a Press representative, Public relations publicist - managing the public image of a client or a work of art such as a film, Special publicity consultant and Media agent - liaise between the ordinary person (interviewee) and news stations.

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, office equipment, internet, and computers. Must be a team player. Following Major Duties are included: Working with New Heights Educational Group to organize and write about our teaching techniques, researching topics and techniques, emailing partnerships for permissions, working with the design and proofreading/editing department. We are looking for authors that will help our teaching approaches come alive. Authors will help format books for publication using Amazon’s guides and directions. We are looking for very special individuals to help us with our "Unraveling Series". We have published two stories, one of which is our story. "One Nonprofit's Journey to Success". And the first in our series of books, "Unraveling Reading". We are looking for authors or people interested in being first-time authors to help write the following books: Unraveling English/Language Arts - must be an expert on the English Language/ or have experience teaching Language Arts, Unraveling Geography - must be an expert on Geography/experience teaching it, Unraveling Foreign Languages - must be an expert in Foreign Language/teaching it/bilingual, Unraveling Latin - must be an expert in Latin/or have experience teaching it, other subjects to be covered - music, arts, physical education, technology, engineering. We already have authors for History, Science and Special Education. All of which must have a passion for the subject they are writing about. We have editors /proofreaders on staff. We will pay for publishing, and advertising the book.
