2021 marks the 33rd annual Weigand Construction Duck Race to Benefit SCAN on July 31st at Promenade Park. Ticket sales will be live May 1 and in the next few months we will sell 20,000 ducks with the help of volunteers, local businesses, staff, and our many community events.
Each plastic duck represents a raffle number and the top ducks will win cash and prizes. Proceeds from the event will support SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect) in its many programs that support our mission to protect children, prepare parents, strengthen families, and educate our community to Stop Child Abuse and Neglect. Our 2021 goal is to raise more than $225,000!
By volunteering at the event you can help us to reach our goals and have fun in the process!
There are many different opportunities and times available on July 31st. They include help with set up, selling merchandise and concessions, kids activities, and tear down.
