We are a local chapter based in Northeast Indiana. We are a very active group and we would love for you to join our team!
September is a special month for those involved with Ryan's Case for Smiles. Chapters all over the USA and 2 chapters in Canada gather and sew a combined goal of 40,000 pillowcase during the month. This goal reflects the average number of children who undergo cancer treatment in 1 calendar year. These pillowcases are given to children in pediatric wings of hospitals.
We appreciate everyone. This month every station is needed. PLEASE bring your cutting mat, ruler and rotary cutter if you have one and plan to cut. I provide 2 cutting stations and 2 ironing stations.
We need extra volunteers to pin, iron and package. Children as young as 8 are encouraged to help with parental supervision.
Please bring your own lunch and closed drink, no red dye or raw onions.
