2025 Monarch Festival

Saturday September 13th, 8:30am - 5:30pm

Volunteers are needed to help set up and tear down, guide parking, greet participants, assist participants at education stations (training provided), give away native plants and more.  Click Here to sign up for a shift.  


Join LRWP in celebrating all things Monarch Butterfly! Help us spread the word about the importance of creating habitat for monarchs and inspire our community to take action. There are many ways to help! Highlighting monarchs’ lifecycle and their incredible transformation, the Monarch Festival includes a variety of programs and activities:
* Live Monarch Displays: Observe monarchs at different stages of their life cycle!
* Educational Presentations: Outdoor learning stations and hands-on activities for all ages.
* Plant Giveaway:  Visitors will be offered varieties of native flowers, including milkweed, the only plant on which monarchs lay eggs, to plant at either Eagle Marsh or take home.
