Thank you for your interest in volunteering at our annual event, Earth Day Fort Wayne 2025, at Eagle Marsh. Our celebration event will be on Sunday, April 27, from 1 to 5 p.m., but there are volunteer opportunities from 10 am-7:00 pm!
This free community event will feature many conservation-oriented activities, presentations, educational stations, booths for the local organizations contributing to environmental conservation in the area, and food trucks. Shifts are:
10:00 - 12:15 pm - Event Set Up - help with set up of tables, tents, chairs, etc.
12:00 - 3:00 pm - 1st shift General Volunteer - assist with directing parking, native planting, guiding participants, rain barrel silent auction, merchandise and much more!
12:15 - 3:15 pm - 1st shift Education - assist event participants at an education station, no experience necessary, training will be provided!
12:15 - 3:15 - Spanish Interpreter - Celebrate this world we share across cultures and help us reach out to our Hispanic community here in Fort Wayne by assisting at our education and information tables.
2:45 - 5:30 pm - 2nd shift General Volunteer - assist with directing parking, native planting, guiding participants, rain barrel silent auction, merchandise and much more!
3:00 - 5:30 pm - 2nd shift Education - assist event participants at an education station, no experience necessary, training will be provided!
3:00 - 5:30 pm - 2nd Shift Spanish Interpreter - Celebrate this world we share across cultures and help us reach out to our Hispanic community here in Fort Wayne by assisting at our education and information tables.
5:00 - 7:00 pm - Tear Down - help with clean up and tear down of tables, tents, chairs, etc. We usually end much earlier than 7pm with all hands on deck.
