While it is an honor to be able to match our Veteran patients with a Veteran, as we feel it offers a special connection, you do not have to be a Veteran yourself to be considered for this type of match. Maybe you are part of a military family or there is some other reason Veterans hold a special place in your heart, this type of match is open to you as well!
A Veteran Volunteer spends time with their patient at a weekly or bi-weekly visit and has the opportunity to participate in pinning ceremonies, and other special events honoring Veterans.
Your presence would make a huge difference in the life of one of our Hospice Veterans!
