Loneliness can kill. Please share your time. 2 hours a month could mean the world to someone else.
Our Volunteer Advocates visit with assigned clients in their home setting (group or nursing home) to offer companionship, friendship, and to advocate on the client's behalf. They assist our Professional Guardians by helping to ensure that the clients are safe, comfortable, and that they are enjoying the best possible quality of life available. Guardians are able to provide support and address questions or concerns at anytime. Typical visits are approximately one (1) hour each, and occur twice a month. Hours are flexible and can include evenings and week-ends.
