Who We Are
We are Ft. Wayne first responders who educate children and adults about pedestrian safety and fire safety with the use of The Safety Village and The Survive Alive House. The village programs are provided free of charge and is supported by the City of Fort Wayne and our wonderful sponsors who have buildings out at Safety Village and by donations.
What We Do
The Safety Village teaches visitors about safety on the 3.7-acre complex. Throughout the school year children visit the Safety Village to learn about pedestrian safety (kindergarten) and the survive alive house to learn about fire safety (3rd graders) During the summer the village is able to educate pre-schools, camps and different organizations.
