Stillwater Hospice

Stillwater Hospice's well-established volunteer program helps in every aspect of our agency’s services. More than 140 volunteers assist staff to make the lives of our patients and their families easier, whether that’s sitting at the bedside to give caregivers a well-deserved break or staffing the desk at Hospice Home, welcoming family and friends who’ve come to visit loved ones. Our Volunteer Program even extends to caring for patients’ pets and tending our beautiful gardens on the Visiting Nurse campus. We are proud to be a Level 4 We Honor Veterans program participant, which matches volunteers who are veterans of our armed services with our patients who are also veterans, to recognize them and thank them for their service. Volunteers also help behind the scenes, assisting with clerical duties and special events.
