Our mission is to reach out in the heart of the city by "caring for the Shepherd's people, daring to be the Shepherd's hands, and sharing the Shepherd's love." As a Christian organization, we are motivated by the love of Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, to care for others. We seek to do so by daring to go beyond perpetuating "hand-out culture" by engaging neighbors in meeting the needs of the community, providing opportunities for neighbors to serve one another, and providing educational opportunities so that people caught in the cycle of poverty might gain skills to help them effect positive change in their own life.
