Who We Are
Coats for Kids is a program of the Volunteer Center. Started in 2000 as a small coat collection at one elementary school, the program has grown into an annual county-wide collection program providing 5,000+ new and gently used coats to children in local schools, shelters and social service agencies. Over 60,000 coats have been distributed in a 9 county area
since 2000.
What We Do
No child should be cold and without a winter coat. Volunteers help by collecting, sorting, tagging, packing and delivering over 5,000 winter coats every year. Join us and be part of our tear helping keep little ones warm this winter!
