Volunteer Opportunities From: Volunteer Center

Distribute sack lunches in a designated area. This is a rewarding project as the clients really appreciate it. You drive your own vehicle and work in teams of two per car, go to each house on your list and distribute the lunches. 

The Franciscan Center serves clients through our Food Pantry and Medicine Chest. We are seeking volunteers who can enter client data on the computer as they arrive. This involves typing in their name and identification information. Very basic. We need help Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's from 9 am - 11 am. Can you support this important ministry once a week or twice a month? 

Volunteers will help fill sack lunches to be distributed every Sat. Volunteer hours are Tuesday and Thursday mornings. 

Distributing food to clients or assisting with client check in at food pantry. Help needed Tuesday and/or Thursday mornings. 

Shifts available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Help organize food supplies for pantry. Packaging food boxes inside pantry. May require lifting. 

Please Contribute to our Food Pantry or Medicine Cabinet Programs. We are still open to serve the public but our shelves are growing bare. We are in need of the following: 

Food Pantry: Can Soups/Fruits/Vegetables; Canned Tuna/Chicken; Mashed Potatoes/Stuffing; Salad Dressing/Cooking Oil; Rice/Noodles/Pasta; Hamburger/Tuna Helper; Cereal/Oatmeal; Cake Mixes/Frosting; Mac & Cheese; Peanut Butter/Jelly; Pancake/Muffin Mix/Coffee; Really, anything that is edible!

Medicine Cabinet: Child/Adult Meds (over-the-counter); Razors/Shaving Cream; Body Wash/Bar Soap; Shampoo/Conditioner; Deodorant; Hand/Dish/Laundry Soap; Household Cleaners; Toilet Paper/Paper Towels; Diapers/Baby Wipes; Tooth Paste/Toothbrushes; First Aid Items
