At The Journey, we walk alongside teens and young adults, offering mentorship, life skills, and faith-centered encouragement as they navigate life’s challenges.

The Fundraising Committee is responsible for ensuring The Journey has the financial resources necessary to fulfill its mission. This committee raises both capital and operating funds, supports donor relations, and builds a culture of generosity and enthusiasm for philanthropy within the board, mentors, and community.

The Marketing Committee is responsible for overseeing all communication, branding, and promotional efforts that represent The Journey. This committee ensures that all written and visual materials accurately reflect the organization’s mission, values, and programs while maintaining consistency across all platforms.

The committee’s work helps raise awareness, build credibility, and strengthen relationships with mentees, mentors, donors, and community partners.

The Community Engagement Committee strengthens The Journey’s visibility, partnerships, and outreach throughout the community. This committee identifies opportunities for connection, collaboration, and awareness to support the overall mission of The Journey.

The Finance / Fund Development Committee ensures The Journey operates with the financial health, transparency, and sustainability needed to fulfill its mission. This committee provides financial analysis, guidance, and oversight while helping to secure the resources necessary to sustain and grow our programs and outreach.

The Program Committee provides guidance, oversight, and innovation for all Journey programs. This committee ensures that each program fulfills the organization’s mission—to support young adults ages 14–26 in developing emotional stability, practical life skills, and healthy relationships through mentorship, community, and hands-on learning.

The committee plays a vital role in planning new initiatives, maintaining program quality, and strengthening partnerships that expand access and impact.
