Volunteer with Heartland Hospice. You can volunteer in a variety of ways. We will find you patients to visit, near where you live!
Friendly Visits: Visit with a patient typically for about an hour. Play games, play cards, listen to music, watch tv or movies, talk and more. Share your talents and time with someone who would truly appreciate it.
Caregiver Relief: Help families that are taking care of someone they love. Give them a much needed break and spend time with their loved one. Typically about 2-4 hours.
Vigil Relief: Help us fulfill our philosophy that a patient should never die alone or feel alone when they die. Sit with a patient so they are not alone.Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to learn more about connecting with our amazing patients.
