Volunteer mentors needed for the Empower Us Mentoring Program!
Mentoring provides a source of stability in a child's life that they may not have otherwise. Volunteers will be paired with a student (K-6th grade) at South Whitley Elementary, and will provide 30 minutes each week during school hours to build relationships through fun games, crafts, reading books, and other activities.
Volunteers may make a request of preferred gender and grade of student; however, volunteers will be paired with students on a priority basis. A short training and background check will be required before beginning the program.
