Native Plant Propagation Series: Seed Cleaning
November 20th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm
Meet at the Eagle Marsh Barn - 6801 Engle Rd, Fort Wayne IN 46804
Take the next step in native plant propagation with us and help clean the seeds we collected so we can use them to restore our marsh! Learn to separate the seed from the chaff or dry plant material and why both are valuable for the marsh and the wildlife it sustains. Learn about and contribute to our native seed mix, which we'll use to grow native plants like Wild Senna, Bee Balm, and Tall Ironweed all across Eagle Marsh!
We'll meet at the barn, which is quite toasty under all the heat lamps, so all you'll need to bring is a water bottle and your enthusiasm! Parking is at the lot across from the beige barn at 6801 Engle Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. We'll have the gate open for you!
