Ryan's Case for Smiles was founded in 2007 to bring support to young patients and their families in hospitals around the globe.We started with a simple goal: to create and distribute whimsical pillowcases that give children an emotional boost and remind them that they are not defined by their illness.
We will be cutting pillowcase kits and sewing precut kits. Please bring a cutting mat, 24" cutting ruler and rotary cutter if you own them. We will provide 2 sets for the day.
Please bring your sewing machine or serger and everything you need to sew (scissors, thread, extra needles power cord and extension cord). The library provides 2 power strips for us and we will bring 2 surge protectors.
We will provide 3 ironing stations.
We operate on a bring your own lunch/snacks/drinks. All drinks must be self-contained, no red dye.
If you have a library card for FW parking in the garage is free. All others must pay for their parking or find a free spot on the street.
