The Needs Closet Organizer will assist with the regular upkeep of our residential needs, clothing, and/or linen closets. Responsibilities may be shared among more than one volunteer.
The Needs Closet Organizer must demonstrate a commitment to serving YWCA NEIN’s clients and upholding the YWCA mission.
This is an on-site volunteer position.
Roles & Duties:
Organizing and arranging items in residential supply closets
Receive and put away donations for the supply closets
Cleaning out and discarding unusable items
Keeping detailed inventory to send to staff
Communicating supply needs to staff
Responsible for following all established policies and procedures
Abide by the YWCA Northeast Indiana Code of Conduct, Non-Interference Policy
Maintain client and staff confidentiality
Other duties as assigned
*All YWCA Northeast Indiana volunteer positions require at least a 3 month commitment*
