Volunteers of the United With Love Food Pantry assist neighbors with the selection of food products for their households. By providing a range of fresh fruit, vegetables, lean proteins, canned goods, and dairy products, our food pantry aims to alleviate the pressures of accessing healthy food for neighbors in Huntington County. Volunteers assist with the day-to-day activities of the pantry; ensuring a welcoming, well stocked, and hygienic shopping experience. Some Food Pantry Volunteers also assist with the collection of food from local donation organizations.
Our food pantry volunteers are asked to commit to serving weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly for 2-4 hours. Days and hours are flexible depending on the nature of the position and your availability.
Volunteer opportunities are available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:30 am - 5 pm and Wednesday and Friday 9:30 am - 1 pm.
