Mentor a child in your community today! With Big Brothers Big Sisters, a community-based Big Couple which involves two adult volunteers in a committed relationship that are typically spouses or long-term partners. This program requires interested participants to undergo an interview with our trained staff so we can get to know you and match you with the best youth! You will be matched based on shared histories and common interests. Once matched, you will meet with your "little' twice a month, doing whatever it is you enjoy doing together. This can include going out to eat, going to the park, playing sports, arts and crafts, gardening, games, and more. Mentorship is a powerful, proven way to help young people stay on a positive path—reducing the likelihood of risky behaviors like drug use and involvement in the justice system. It also builds self-confidence and encourages stronger, healthier relationships. We have hundreds of children on our waitlist right now hoping to be matched!

School Buddies is a site based program where the volunteer gets matched with an elementary aged child and meets them once a week at their school during lunch. During this time, matches will often eat together, play games, talk, and maybe work on school work or reading. This program follows the school schedule and does not meet during summer or winter break. Sign up today to help change a child's outlook on life!
