Who We Are
Allen County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a dedicated organization committed to advocating for children who have been abused, neglected, or are at risk. Our mission is to ensure these children have a voice in the court system and to provide them with the support they need during what can be a very challenging and confusing time.
Allen County CASA recruits, trains and supports CASA volunteers as advocates to get to know the abused or neglected child and determine their needs and recommend what is in the child's best interest. The CASA volunteer communicates this information about the child to the court so the child's voice can be heard and so the child does not become "lost" in the system
At Allen County CASA, we believe that every child deserves a safe, loving, and permanent home. Our volunteers are committed to helping make that happen by providing children with the attention, advocacy, and stability they need during one of the most difficult times in their lives. By becoming a CASA volunteer, you can make a lasting impact on a child's future helping them feel seen, heard, and valued.
