Downtown Fort Wayne

The Downtown Fort Wayne Economic Improvement District is an organization working on Advancing Downtown Fort Wayne as the vibrant, urban core of northeast Indiana. 

We engage with our Downtown stakeholders to enhance appearances of streets, improve safety/the perception of safety downtown, encourage pride in location and space, and produce free and public events to strengthen Downtown Fort Wayne.

Our annual events include BuskerFest, Lunch on the Square, Art Crawl, Night of Lights and Holiday Fest. We also organize and run 2 Window Decorating contests; Fort Wayne in Bloom in the spring and our popular Holiday Window Decorating contest in November.
