Ft. Wayne Community Schools' "Study Connection" is a volunteer tutoring program. Individuals from around the community are matched one-to-one with students who have been identified by their teachers as needing extra academic assistance (primarily with reading). Tutors and students meet for one hour once a week during the school year to work on academic enrichment and homework provided by the student’s teacher or through the Fort Wayne Community Schools Community Programs Office. Individuals may also co-volunteer with others or serve as a volunteer "sub".
