We care where you are. Care is delivered wherever you or your loved one calls home. This could be at home, or an assisted living facilities or a group home. Our comprehensive hospice services team includes: Physicians Nursing care, Nursing aides, Medical social work services, Chaplain Spiritual counseling, Volunteers, Medications, Medical equipment, and supplies Bereavement support.

Elara Caring hospice volunteers are compassionate, giving individuals who share the most precious gift they have—their time—to enhance the lives of others. We’re always happy to connect with compassionate people who want to give back to their communities in a meaningful way. No special skills are necessary—just a listening ear and an open heart.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Companionship to hospice patients and respite to caregivers
• Supportive presence at the bedside of patients in their final days or hours
• Recording patient memories and stories for the patient’s family to have as a keepsake
• Supporting Veteran patients and Veteran’s events
• Certified pet therapy dogs visiting patients in homes or facilities
