Who We Are
We are an interfaith non-profit that has been serving the Fort Wayne community for over 50 years. Our focus is on providing enrichment activities for youth, education through our nutrition program, distributing food and clothing to those in need. There is no cost for our services!
What We Do
Our food programs are the most popular volunteer choices as we have an on-site Food Bank and 9 mobile food pantry locations serving people in all 4 quadrants of the city.
Our clothing boutique is also a popular choice as we're always in need of volunteers for sorting clothing and answering questions while client's shop as needed.
Volunteering with the after school program and summer day camp program is an unforgettable experience. Per our volunteers, reading to children is a favorite activity.
Working at the front desk gives you a unique experience to interact with all program participants!
Our Nutrition Program at Wellspring which is instructed by our Registered Dietician, gives out fresh produce weekly to clients and class participants. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities within this department from sorting and helping bag produce to assisting our Dietician during select classes.
